Freshsales vs Mycompany
MyCompany is a credible alternative when the goal is a self-hosted, open-source system that connects basic CRM pipelines with sales, invoicing, inventory, and other ERP operations in one database. It is not a like-for-like Freshsales replacement: choose Freshsales for documented lead routing, multichannel engagement, campaigns, automation, and Freddy AI; choose MyCompany when infrastructure control and integrated ERP

Decision guide
The practical reasons to choose either option, based on documented capabilities.
Choose Mycompany if
- Small or midsize businesses wanting CRM, sales, invoicing, and inventory in one self-hosted database
- Teams needing lead Kanban boards with calls and emails logged against leads
- Organizations able to operate PostgreSQL and the lsFusion-based application on their own server
Stay with Freshsales if
- AI lead or deal scoring, recommendations, or assisted email drafting are required
- Lead qualification and routing automation are central to the sales process
- Sales campaigns and broader multichannel engagement must remain inside the CRM itself
Deployment and operations
MyCompany is self-hosted and licensed under Apache 2.0; its underlying lsFusion platform is separately licensed under LGPL v3. The documented starting requirement is a server with 4 GB RAM and internet access during installation. Install scripts are provided for Ubuntu 18+/Debian 9+ and RHEL 8+/CentOS 8+/Fedora 35+, with a Windows x64 installer and a separate Docker guide. The web and desktop clients use ports 8080 and 7652 respectively. An update script is available, and separate customization
