What it does
LLM Wiki is an open-source knowledge-management workspace for turning reading and research into a persistent wiki. Users upload documents, capture web pages and PDFs with a Chrome extension, highlight passages, add comments, and browse generated pages with source links, cross-linking, graphs, charts, and Mermaid diagrams.
Claude connects through MCP to search, read, create, edit, append, delete, and lint wiki content. Scheduled Claude routines can synthesize newly added sources and update affected pages. The project supports a hosted mode and local self-hosting, where a CLI starts the API and Next.js web app, stores source files and generated Markdown locally, and uses SQLite for indexing; hosted mode uses Postgres and S3.
