What it does

Memos is an open-source, self-hosted note-taking app designed for quick capture. Its timeline-first web interface supports writing Markdown-native notes, while the Web Clipper saves pages, selected text, and images after review, visibility selection, and Markdown customization.

The product can run as a single Go binary or Docker container and supports SQLite, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Deployment options include Docker Compose, Kubernetes, native installation, and building from source. Memos exposes REST and gRPC APIs and is licensed under MIT.
