What it does

Notabase is an open-source personal knowledge base designed for networked thinking. Users create and edit notes with a WYSIWYG Markdown-supporting editor, connect notes with links, tags, nested notes, references, and block embeds, then browse relationships through page stacking and graph view. Full-text search, import and export, and linked or unlinked references support retrieval and ongoing organization.

The project provides a hosted experience and documents self-hosting locally with a Next.js build, Supabase authentication, database, and storage. Notes can sync to the cloud and be accessed on any device; the Progressive Web App supports faster loading and offline viewing. The repository is licensed AGPL-3.0.
